Job description:
NETE is looking for talented and experienced Systems Analyst to join our Web services team. NETE is a 30+ person team with a team-based approach to growth.
Job Duties:
will perform technical writing for a variety of complex applications under limited supervision.Candidate Specifically, his duties will include, but are not limited to
- Developing and writing content for printed manuals, documentation and supporting materials for software, technical procedures and computer-related services for end-users and in-house users for all products.
- Actively participating in all phases of the development life cycle in order to determine document content and user requirements.
- Organizing material and completing writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
- Work closely with software development, product managers, and project managers in order to understand the updated functionality of each product to ensure that documentation is clear and accurate for each release.
- May participate and provide input in product planning and review meetings and in technical product testing.
- May participate in user interface design meetings.
- Create and/or capture necessary graphics including product screen captures, photos, process flow charts, engineering diagrams, and Gantt charts to insert into user documentation.
- Review written procedures against software to ensure the information published is accurate and understandable from a user standpoint.
- Serve as a mentor to junior technical writers.
- Maintaining records and files of work and revisions.
- Involve in proposal writing
- As with any similar position at this level, the usual minimum requirement for performance of the job duties is a bachelor’s degree.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in any field with strong written, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated skills developing online help systems. Eye for detail, intimate familiarity with industry web software development standards/best practices, and good time-management abilities are the key for this position. Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate with clients in order to understand their needs and then to transform conversations to action as it relates to the Web applications development.
